In the existing solution there were a mixture of different types of alerts of which could be attached to multiple different entities (an individual tenant, a property or a household). This made it impossible to get a holistic view of all the different dangers associated with a single entity. It also frequently resulted in alerts being duplicated and added to the incorrect entity.
Users wanted a simplified way to manage alerts and a location where all alerts associated with an entity were clearly visible.
