The existing solution was slow, bloated and no longer relevant. Arrears officers had to work through a daily caseload of arrears in order to action and manage them. In order to view the case load, the system forced users to re-generate a report every time which was very slow to compile, resulting in a large amount of wasted time. The feature also enabled to users to filter their case load but a large number of the filter options available to users were no longer relevant and often unclear.
