Consumers using Checkatrade have often complained that after contacting tradespeople, their requests would often go unanswered, leaving them in the dark about whether anyone would respond. To address this issue, we wanted to offer consumers the ability to "post a job," which available traders could respond to whilst retaining the current model of enabling consumers to search for tradespeople.
